Tafsir Darussalam Publication Committee Holds Meeting

Bandar Seri Begawan - The panel responsible in checking the Tafsir Darussalam held a meeting yesterday at the Islamic Dakwah Centre.

The meeting was chaired by Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Hj Badaruddin, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs.

Also present were the State Mufti, Pehin Dam Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Hj Awang Abdul Aziz, deputy permanent secretary, deputy state mufti, chief Syariah judge and other members of panel.

At the meeting, the panel heard a number of responses and views from personnel of the Islamic Dakwah Centre and the Language and Literature Bureau.

The committee on the publication of the Tafsir Darussalam hoped that the implementation of the arrangement and publication wilt continue to run smoothly until the success of its publication and hoped to make it one of the main references in Brunei Darussalam.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
