Agreement On Tourists On Transit

Begawan - Transit passengers in Brunei will now be able to
take in Brunei's scenery while waiting for their flight following an
agreement between the Royal Brunei Airlines (RBA) and Sunshine
Borneo Tours for the "Window on Brunei Transit Tour Programme"
The programme which started early
last month, will see Sunshine Borneo Tours operate the transit tours
four days at a time and bring passengers to a selection of tourist
attractions including Bandar Seri Begawan's waterfront that
overlooks Kampong Ayer, the Yayasan Shopping Centre, Sultan Omar
'Ali Saifuddien Mosque, Istana Nurul [man and the Sumhangsih Mulia.
"Sunshine Borneo Tours sees the
transit tour programme as a great opportunity to introduce Brunei to
passengers who are travelling through our country," said YAM

Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz, the Chairman of Sunshine
Borneo Tours, one of the co-signers for the agreement.
Signing on behalf of Royal Brunei
Airlines was Senior Vice- President of Commercial Yield and
planning, Captain Sheikh Rashid Sheikh Elj Abd Salam. "This is a
complimentary tour for transit passengers where Royal Brunei
Airlines is just providing a value added service that will help to
promote Brunei," said Russell Knox, RBA Corporate Communication
Officer..
He said that Brunei International
Airport currently has transit passengers from all over Europe,
Australia and the region, and is complimentary to them if their
transit lasts longer than four hours.
Alternatively, passengers who wish
to remain at the airport during their transit may instead opt for a
complimentary set meal voucher at the Coffee Garden in the departure
