State Of The Art Printers For Enhanced Security

Kuala Belait - In a bid to help secure customers' application and cards from being counterfeited, Local Digital RFID Solution's local company - which is based in Kuala Belait - is bringing in a wide selection of state-of-the-art `EDIsecure' card printers, which boasts a variety of security features.

The cutting-edge card printers are products of Digital Identification Solutions Group, a global provider of advanced identification solutions with a worldwide installed base of more than 5,000 systems.

The Local Digital RFID Solutions Company understands that Photo IDs play a significant role in the average security environment and that the technology offers different solutions for the rising demand of complex Photo IDs; where a simple non-photo ID is no longer sufficient.

The card printers have the ability to deliver solutions incorporating high security pre-printing and holography, image encryption and watermarking, biometrics integration and multi-faceted card encoding, he said.

The EDISecure printer consists of eight top-of-the-line printers to meet an individual's requirements and budgets. All printers are equipped with the new security features: Security Erase and IPSEC.

Additionally, the two models - XID 580ie and XID 590ie - possess a revolutionary dye-sublimation UV ink ribbon for printing invisible information on demand, as well as creating monochrome photographs with a special dithering technology, which provides for high quality black and white images on the rear side of a card.

The new security feature UV Dye-Sublimation Ink also enables the utilisation of `on demand pictorial printing' of invisible photographs, logos, emblems, symbols, coats of arms and even variable text.

This revolutionary UV printing technology allows finest tone scale reproduction for personalisation of invisible photographs of highest quality. The printed UV information is not visible to the naked eye, but can be verified easily by using a UV light source.
