Two Illegal Immigrants Behind Bars

Bandar Seri Begawan - Two Indonesians who entered the country without a valid pass were sentenced to three months' jail and three strokes of the cane by the Bandar Magistrate's Court yesterday.

The court was told that the defendants - Mujianto Paidi and Suryanto - were arrested in Jalan Pasir Berakas on January 28 after officers learnt that they were illegal immigrants. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
