TAP Conducts Inspections At Business Premises

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Employees' Trust Fund or Tabung Amanah Pekerja (TAP), through its Compliance Department, continued its inspections at business premises in Kampong Bengkurong yesterday morning.

Eleven personnel from the Compliance Department visited business premises for three hours, starting from 9am.

In addition to the inspections, the Employees Trust Fund personnel also briefed employers on the TAP Act and TAP regulations, as well as outlined their responsibilities as members of TAP.

The Employees' Trust Fund once again reminded employers to keep relevant documentation containing information on the registration and contribution of each local employee as stated by Regulation 17(2) of TAP Regulation 1999.

Local employees who have yet to register and make contributions to TAP are welcome to report at any TAP branch so that TAP can investigate further. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
