School Launches Ratib Activity

Bandar Seri Begawan - A ceremony for the recital of Ratib Al-Atas activity for Sg Taring Religious School was launched at its prayer room yesterday.

The guest of honour who officiated the ceremony was Belait District Senior Religious Education Officer of the Islamic Education Department of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Ustaz Hj Ali Lani.

In her welcoming speech, the school headmistress, Ustazah Hjh Sairah Hj Lahit, said the activities organised by the school are in tune with the advice from the Religious Education Department.

"This activity, organised every Thursday of the last week of the month, is to expose the school pupils to the recital of Ratib Al-Atas."

Ustazah Hjh Sairah thanked Ustaz Rudy Samsudin and other teachers for their efforts to make the activities a success. She also extended her gratitude to the media RTB, Borneo Bulletin and Media Permata for their coverage.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
