Savour RBC’s Chinese NY Dinner Treats

Bandar Seri Begawan - Beat the hassle of cooking and cleaning up for the upcoming Chinese New Year celebrations with Royal Brunei Catering's perfect Chinese New Year dinner treats.

In welcoming the lunar New Year, Royal Brunei Catering has unveiled a variety of New Year special dinners at Emperor's Court and Dynasty Restaurant.

Starting from February 1, to 21, a total of six different Yee Sang dishes - a must-have delicacy for Chinese New Year - are available at both RBC Chinese restaurants. Choices include Abalone, Lobster, Salmon, Pacific Clam, Shredded Duck and Jelly Fish.

"In Chinese tradition, members of the families must toss the ingredients together before tasting the dish of Yee Sang. It is believed that the higher you toss the ingredients, the bigger the fortune you will receive in the year ahead," said Miss Connie Lu Qiuping of Emperor's Court.

The introduction of RBC's Chinese New Year Prosperity set menus proved to be a success, since both Emperor's Court and Dynasty Restaurant are already fully booked for Chinese New Year's eve dinner.

Customers who were unable to get seating for the New Year's Eve may still book for tables on Chinese New Year and Chap Goh Mei or the last day of Chinese New Year.

The Chinese New Year prosperity set menus include best-loved delicacies of the season namely traditional style steamed Garoupa, braised dried oyster and sea cucumber with seasonal vegetable, stewed chicken with Chinese herbs and others.

In addition, dine-in customers can enjoy a 30 per cent discount off the total food bill when payments are made using Baiduri Bank Platinum/Mastercard platinum cards with each cardholder eligible to a maximum booking of 10 persons. The discount is applicable only when the Chinese New Year Prosperity menu is consumed on February 6, 7 and 21 at Emperor's Court and Dynasty Restaurant.
