Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Primary School Conducts Exciting Activities

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Science Unit at the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Primary School last week organised several school activities for its Primary Six students.

Last Thursday morning, the school conducted a study visit to the Fisheries Carnival at the Serasa Fish Landing Complex.

In the afternoon on the same day, led by Cikgu Daisy and Cikgu Shahju, a total of five students attended the "Grow Your Plant" competition organised by Standard Chartered Bank (SCB).

At the competition, the school's team won a number of prizes - Nur Asyiqin Bazilah Hj Ali Hassann was in first place, Nur Diyana Safwah Hj Bakri won third place, Yasmeen Adreini Hj Mohd Yusra took fourth place, while YAM Pg Anak Raheemah Sanaul Bolkiah bte YAM Pg Maharaja Setia Laila Diraja Sahibul Irshad Pg Anak Hj Abdul Rahim and Nurfarizah Dr Hj Zafri were tied in fifth place.

On Saturday, a closing ceremony for the religious month and civic event was held at the multi-purpose hall of the school, during which selected students from Primary One to Six were presented with the January Methali Student Awards. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
