Remote Control Boat Race

Bandar Seri Begawan - Over 20 remote control boat racers competed in an annual competition organised by the Brunei-Muara section in Jerudong.

The overall champion, most active and youngest participant was Abd Hazim bin Abd Manaf from the Belait district.

The Class A - open hull above 44cc category was won by Salman bin Nilau.

Second was Pg Ferizan bin Pg Hj Omar. In third place was Hendry Milang.

The Class-B open hull below 43cc was won by Jdnaidi bin Hj Md Arshad.

Md Yusof bin Hj MdArshad placed second. Abd Manaf bin Hj Yussof was third.

Junaidi bin Hj Mohd Arshad, organising chairman, said Brunei remote control boat enthusiasts are invited to join the Remote Control Powerboat Race Piala Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur on Feb 16 at Tasik Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur.
