MoD Personnel On Better Footing In Public Speaking

Bandar Seri Begawan - A further 12 senior officers from the Ministry of Development (MoD) recently completed a three-day workshop focusing on how to speak with greater confidence, purpose and impact.

According to a press release, the workshop was organised by fmBRUNEI Consultancy Services and facilitated by Rohani Mohd Tahir.

Through the workshop, participants have learnt to identify the essential components/ingredients of a presentation; understand the use of correct English expressions when presenting and negotiating; organize information in a clear and concise manner; implement techniques for varying vocal tones and body language; and identify, learn and practice the characteristics of a good presenter.

The workshop aimed to enhance and improve further the presentation skills of all participants, particularly for those who need to deliver presentations such as tenders and product briefings, promotions and even during internal meetings.
