Royal Audience To New Thai Envoy

Bandar Seri Begawan - His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, yesterday afternoon consented to receive in audience, Mr Phithak Phrombubpha, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Brunei Darussalam.

Mr Phithak presented his letter of credential to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on January 15, 2008.

Also present during the audience was Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Abu Bakar bin Pengiran Seri Indera Pengiran Haji Ismail, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
