ABDB In League Cup Semifinals

Bandar Seri Begawan - MS ABDB marched into the semifinals of the DST Group Brunei League Cup after coming from one goal behind to beat NBT FC 3-1 in a quarterfinal match at Balapan field last night.

NBT FC stunned the league leader with the opening goal from a superb free kick by Fazri Jumat on 31st minute.

However, MS ABDB managed to equalise just seconds before the break when Md Roy Suhardi Hanifah lopped the ball over goalkeeper Abi Yazid.

After the interval, Md Amir Ajmal Md Tahir took the lead for MS ABDB when he chipped the ball over NBT FT goalkeeper on 61st minute.

MS ABDB scored their third goal of the night through No 7 Budiman bin Jumat.

Coach Major Zulkefli of MS ABDB said after the game: "I was impressed with the team's performance in the second half. They had really stick to the game plan and scored two decisive goals in the second half." -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
