Colourful Finale To Fair

Begawan - The Asian Delight Fair at the Yayasan Sultan Haji
Hassanal Bolkiah Shopping Complex in the capital, ended yesterday
with an array of cultural performances from children of all races.
Some 28 booths selling various
products from gelato to computer parts to accessories were also
available during the fair which began on January 27.
Yesterday, the last day of the
fair, saw the Yayasan Shopping Complex filled with on-lookers wowed
by the upbeat dances and colourful outfits of performers from the
Chung Hwa Tutong Primary School, Slimline and the children of the
officers from the Indonesian embassy.
Among the spectators was His
Excellency Herijanto Soeprapto, the Ambassador of the Republic of
Indonesia and other officials from the Indonesian Embassy.
Katherine Tan, the Marketing
Manager of Prime Media Event management and CJMM Company said that
they helped to organise the event in a bid to enliven Bandar Seri
Begawan and attract more people to the capital. With the slogan for
the fair being, "Celebrating Asia's Rich Diversity", the fair
attracted many foreigners, mostly from Indonesia and the
Philippines, as well as locals, with most of them viewing the
performances from the second and third levels of the shopping
