Colourful Finale To Fair
By Debbie Too,

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Asian Delight Fair at the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Shopping Complex in the capital, ended yesterday with an array of cultural performances from children of all races.

Some 28 booths selling various products from gelato to computer parts to accessories were also available during the fair which began on January 27.

Yesterday, the last day of the fair, saw the Yayasan Shopping Complex filled with on-lookers wowed by the upbeat dances and colourful outfits of performers from the Chung Hwa Tutong Primary School, Slimline and the children of the officers from the Indonesian embassy.

Among the spectators was His Excellency Herijanto Soeprapto, the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia and other officials from the Indonesian Embassy.

Katherine Tan, the Marketing Manager of Prime Media Event management and CJMM Company said that they helped to organise the event in a bid to enliven Bandar Seri Begawan and attract more people to the capital. With the slogan for the fair being, "Celebrating Asia's Rich Diversity", the fair attracted many foreigners, mostly from Indonesia and the Philippines, as well as locals, with most of them viewing the performances from the second and third levels of the shopping complex.-- Courtesy of The Brunei Times
