Day Of Fun And Games For Private Schools

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Private Education Department, Ministry of Education, recently organised a National Sports Day at the Mumong Sports Complex in conjunction with the 17th Teachers' Day celebrations.

Twenty-three schools took part in the event, which comprised 12 activities. The sports tournament aimed to foster ties between private school staff members and staff from the Private Education Department.

The guest of honour was the Acting Head Director of Education and Director of the Examinations Board, Ministry of Education, Dayangku Hajah Mastoli PSI Pengiran Haji Ismail, who officiated the event by ceremonially releasing pigeons, which was followed by a march past by the participants. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
