Tutong Holds Al-Quran Knowledge Forum For Mosque Youths

Tutong - The Department of Mosque Affairs, Ministry of Religious Affairs, organised an al-Quran knowledge forum for mosque youths, which was held in conjunction with the New Islamic Year 1429 celebrations in the Tutong District.

Held at the Rancangan Perumahan Negara Bukit Beruang Mosque, the forum saw Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Rahman Haji Mohiddin present as the guest of honour.

Also in attendance were the Deputy Permanent Secretary and senior officers from the Ministry of Religious Affairs as well as RPN Bukit Beruang residents.

Four youth panel members representing four mosques participated in the event.

They represented the Kampung Layoung Mosque, Hassanal Bolkiah Pekan Tutong Mosque, Kampung Tanjung Maya Mosque and Kampung Lamunin Mosque.

The forum was chaired by a Mosque Affairs officer from the Tutong District Department of Mosque Affairs.
