Religious Forum At Kg Bunut Mosque

Bandar Seri Begawan - Over 120 residents of Kg Bunut attended a religious forum at Kg Bunut Mosque Saturday night in conjunction with the New Islamic Year 1429 celebrations, entitled "TAQWA"

The event was organised by the Kg Bunut Mosque Takmir/Muslimah committee with the cooperation of Perpindahan Kg Bunut Consultative Council, Kg Tasek Meradun, Kg Madewa and Kg Sungai Ketam-Telanai.

Present as the guest of honour was the head of Brunei III Zone, Department of Mosque Affairs, and Brunei-Muara District.

The chairman of the event was Pg Metassan bin Pg Bakar, Assistant Chairman of Kg Bunut Mosque Takmir committee, and the guest speaker was Ustaz Awg Hj Mail bin Awg Besar from the Islamic Dakwah Centre.

The event began with the recitation of surah al-Fatihah, led by Imam Awg Asbinin bin Hj Zainal, and was followed by a speech by the chairman, Imam Hj Abdullah bin BPK Dato Hj Abd Wahid.
