Royal Audience For Visiting Minister

Bandar Seri Begawan - His Majesty Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday afternoon consented to receive in audience Mr Yank Jiechi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China.

Mr Yang Jiechi is on a three day official visit to Brunei Darussalam since yesterday.

During the audience, Mr Yang Jiechi was accompanied by Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II, and Ms Tong Xiaoling, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China.

Also present during the audience were Yang Mulia Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Abu Bakar bin Pengiran Seri Indera Pengiran Haji Ismail, Permanent Secretary Prime Minister's Office, and Yang Mulia Dato Paduka Haji Shofry bin Haji Abdul Ghafor, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
