BR Oscar Donates To Pusat Ehsan

Bandar Seri Begawan - Pusat Ehsan receive a boost of B$10,000 fund when BR Oscar Group Sdn Bhd handed the donation at the centre in Bengkurong yesterday.

The actual donation contributed by BR Oscar was B$16,650 the additional B$6,650 was donated to the special needs children in the form of B$50 "Ang Pow" each.

On hand to present the donation to the acting chairman of the board of trustee of Pusat Ehsan, Dato Paduka MohdAlimin Abd Wahab, was BR Oscar managing director Poh Seah Nam.

Poh later personally handed the "Ang Pow" to each of the special needs children at the centre.

According to Poh, the donation is part of their company's social contribution to the community, especially to the charitable organisations like Pusat Ehsan, in conjunction with the coming Chinese New Year festival next week.

BR Oscar is the main supplier of medical equipments and health products in the country. The company has been associated with Pusat Ehsan for the past few years.

Witnessing the presentation yesterday was executive trustee of the centre, Pg Datin Hjh Noraini PDNLDR Pg Hj Momin, and head of administration and staff of Pusat Ehsan, Hj Abd Hamid Maaruf, as well as staff of BR Oscar.

One of the special needs children, Awg Ali Yusri, was really touched by the noble gesture and on behalf of the special needs children, conveyed his appreciation and sincere thanks to BR Oscar. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
