School gears up for charity walk

Kuala Belait - St James's School Kuala Belait is gearing up for a charity walkathon on March 3 to raise funds for Dana Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah for Orphans.

According to Principal Mohd Ali bin Haji Ahmad, it is a privilege to be able to help out needy people in the country.

"It is the responsibility of every citizen in the country to join a charity event such as this.

"We urge all public and corporate companies to help in whichever way they can.

"We should not expect the government to bail us out every time we are in trouble. Instead, we must do our part in realising the visions of the government," he added. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
