Sultan Receives Congratulatory Messages From Vietnamese Leaders

Bandar Seri Begawan - His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam received congratulatory messages from Nguyen Minh Triet, State President, and Nguyen Tan Dung, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Brunei Darussalam and Vietnam.

The State President and Prime Minister sent their warmest greetings on behalf of the state, government and people of Vietnam to His Majesty, the government and people of Brunei.

The Vietnamese State President and Prime Minister are delighted to note that over the past 15 years, the relationship between the two countries has strongly developed in various fields including politics, economics, culture-society and so on through the mutual visits of high level officials and signing of agreements on cooperation.

They believed that with the joint efforts made by the governments and peoples of the two countries and the existing potentials, this fine relationship would be further strengthened and developed both bilaterally and multilaterally in the interests of both countries and for peace, stability, cooperation and development in Southeast Asia and in the world.
