Strong Support For Dari Studio A

Bandar Seri Begawan - Radio Television Brunei (RTB) was yesterday packed with music lovers who turned up for the `Dari Studio A' programme, a show organised by Rangkaian Pelangi 91.4FM network.

The programme - which aims to promote local singing talents - was also broadcast live on Rangkaian Pelangi 91.4 FM.

Dk Farhana Pg Hj Bujang - or better known as Nana - is one of the local artistes whose talent was highlighted through the programme. She wooed the crowd with several songs, including 'Bagaikan Mimpi,' 'Tak Ingin Bersama Mu,' and 'Menghitung Hari.'

Nana - who is the artiste of the month on the Pelangi charts - also won the hearts of her fans with her humour and spontaneity yesterday.

DJ Zack hosted the two-hour event, which also saw an appearance by local guest artiste Khairy.

Khairy later performed a duet with Nana called 'Tak Ingin Bersama Mu.'

The event also saw local band `D' Epitome' staging several of their English hit songs for the audience, and other acts by several up-and-coming local artistes.

Later, a quiz was held following which prizes were awarded to the participants.

Next month, Dari Studio A will introduce its third artist of the month, Maria Destine, and The Seed, another local band invited for the show. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
