Science College Holds 10th Inter-House Malay Debate

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Science College (MSPSBS) held its 10'' Inter-house Malay Debate, yesterday, at the college multipurpose hall. The event was attended by supporting teachers, students and staff.

The event, which is also known as the MSPSBS Hjh Norjum Cup, began with welcoming remarks delivered by Head of Department for Malay Language and MSPSBS Principal Pg Hjh Sarah bte Pg Hj Kamaluddin.

The objective of the Inter-house Malay Debate is to identify and develop new and existing talents among the students whilst at the same time encouraging the use of the Malay language. Student houses Hulubalang, Laksmana, Pahlawan and Panglima made up the 16 participants who proceeded to the finals of the debate yesterday. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
