Cambodian Ambassador Meets MD Of BIA

Bandar Seri Begawan - Cambodian Ambassador Mr Nan Sy yesterday received a courtesy call from the Managing Director of Brunei Investment Agency (BIA), Dr Amin Abdullah.

Dr Amin said that the visit was to get acquainted with the ambassador and to get a better understanding of Cambodia's economic situation and outlook.

Yesterday's visit was to find ways on how the two countries could cooperate in terms of investments. Mr Nan said that he recently met Minister of Energy Pehin Dato Awg Hj Yahya.

The Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister made a visit to Brunei last year during the birthday celebration of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
