All 4 Districts Represented

Bandar Seri Begawan - Participants from all the four districts assembled in the capital yesterday for the 23rd National Day celebration.

A hundred Temburong District representatives,led by the Acting Temburong District Officer, Awg Hj Abdoh bin Dato Paduka Hj Salam, took part in the march pass. They were in the capital at 6:30am.

Another hundred representatives from the Tutong District joined the march pass led by Acting District Officer, Awg Harris bin Hj Osman.

The contingent from the Belait District took part in the annual gathering, led by Acting District Officer Awg Mohammad bin Hj Abd Rahman.

The biggest contingent was from the Brunei-Muara District with more than 200 people led by Brunei-Muara District Officer Dato Paduka Hj Yussof bin Bakar.

Some representatives wore traditional costumes, unique to each district, adding to the colours and varieties of performances in the capital. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
