Open chess blitz

In conjunction with the 23rd National Day celebrations, the Brunei Chess Federation will be organising an Open Chess Blitz on Sunday, Feb 25 at the Brunei Chess Centre in Berakas. Registration starts from 1pm and the first round will commence at 1.30pm. There will be a total of nine rounds and time control is five minutes with a three second increment per player.

Prizes will be given to the first eight winners and also age group prizes for the best three players under-16, under-14, under-12 and under-10 years of age.

There will be an entry fee of $10 for adults and $5 for students. For details, contact Brunei Chess Federation coach Tair Vahidov at 8152005.
