Kg Mulaut Residents Meet Govt Officers

Bandar Seri Begawan - The residents of Kg Mulaut yesterday held a 'muzakarah' (congregation) with senior government officers at Kg Mulaut Mosque. It was organised by the Kg Mulaut Village Council Committee in conjunction with the new Islamic year, Hijrah 1428.

Attending the event was the state mufti, Pehin Dato Ustaz Awg Hj Abdul Aziz bin Juned, penghulus, ketua kampongs as well as officers from the Agriculture Department, Brunei-Muara District Office, Immigration and Registration Department, and Recreation, Parks and Environment Department.

Besides learning more about the government's development plans, residents also brought up a number of suggestions to enhance their village. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
