Over 300 At Mosque Youth Walkathon

Bandar Seri Begawan - More than 300 people yesterday took part in a Mosque Youth Walkaton jointly organised by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and the Consultative Council of Perpindahan Kampong Mata-Mata, Gadong.

Participants had to walk from the Kampong Perpindahan Mata-Mata Mosque to the NCB Building. Prior to the walk, they performed subuh prayers and attended a talk at the mosque. There was also a lucky draw.

Among those who attended the event was NCB Director Hj Abdul Majid bin Mangarshah and NCB Acting Deputy Director Hj Abdul Aziz bin Hj Othman.

Besides promoting healthy and religious activities, the main objective of the event was to foster ties among the youth. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
