PDS Secondary Holds Society Induction

Bandar Seri Begawan - PDS secondary section recently held an induction of officers and societies at the school.

Over 50 officers and 15 societies, including three new societies - Batik Painting Society, Warisan Budaya and the Chinese Cultural Club - were introduced at the event by PDS secondary school's principal, Cikgu Radzuan bin Abdullah.

During Cikgu Radzuan's welcoming speech, he said: "The societies are student-based. You (students) are the heart of the society. You decide, organise, plan, implement and take advise if you think you are lost."

The event also saw officers and advisers make their pledge, led by Mr David Jhoy Sasis V, Head of Office for Student Development.

Students are encouraged to join at least one society. A thunderous and stunning drum performance was also showcased by the Chinese Cultural Club to introduce their group, while the Dance Society pumps up the event with their upbeat hip-hop moves.
