3,000 Flags In Belait District

Kuala Belait - Three thousand mini-flags were distributed to head of government departments and private sectors, chief and head of villages as well as members of the public yesterday afternoon to mark the 23`d National Day.

In relation to that, a ceremony was held at the Belait District Office to distribute mini national flags by Sponsorship Committee for the Distribution of Mini National Flags for the 23rd National Day celebrations to Acting Belait District Officer Awang Shahminan bin Haji Tengah.

The Acting Belait District Officer later distributed flags to chiefs and heads of villages, representatives from Belait Royal Brunei Police Force, Fire and Rescue department, Religious Office and also BSP.

The Acting Belait District Officer also attached the flags to government vehicles, commercial and private vehicles.

Remaining mini national flags were then distributed by government officials at six different locations in Kuala Belait and Seria namely JubileeRecreational Park, Dewan Bandaran, Perusahaan Melayu Petrol Station KB, SEPAKAT Petrol Station, Pekan Seria, Roxana and Malai Mashhor Petrol station in Lumut. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
