Ministry Of Culture, Youth & Sports Marks Hijrah New Year

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, as well as its departments, celebrated the New Year of Hijrah yesterday at the Language and Literature Bureau Department's Balai Sermayuda. Old Airport in Berakas.

The function’s guest of honour was Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Pehin Dato Seri Pahlawan Hj Mohammad Hj Daud. Also present were the ministry's senior officers and department heads, as well as other special invited guests.

There was also a religious talk by an officer from the Islamic Dakwah Centre, Ustazah Noorizah Hj Abidin, and the e~ cut concluded with a Doa Selamat. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
