Bukit Beruang School Holds Religious Talk, Marks Conversion

Bandar Seri Begawan - In Conjunction with the New Hijrah 1428 celebration, PKN Bukit Beruang Primary School held a religious talk and celebrated one of its teachers, Saiful Alizan Kabin, who recently converted to Islam.

The ceremony was held at its Multipurpose Hall.

The talk was delivered by Dr Ustaz Asnawi Hj Astra, who highlighted the importance of performing prayers five times a day.

There was also a sprinkling of the Bunga Rampai by the specially invited guest, teachers and staff members.

Also in attendance were officers from the Tutong District Department of Schools and students.

The function, organised by its committee members, ended with a gift presentation for Saiful Alizan by Headmaster Mohd Ali Hj Nudin. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
