Motivational Talk For Parents

Bandar Seri Begawan - Penanjong Primary School organised a motivational- talked for parents of its primary six pupils at the school's multipurpose hall.

Invited speaker for the event was CikguAli Yusri bin Hj Ghafor, counsellor from the Counselling and Career Guidance Unit, Departments of Schools, Ministry of education.

The theme of the talk was "Anak Siapakan Tu?" (Whose Child Is That?). He said most parents expected their children to be clever, while listening and obeying their elders. To achieve this, parents should be ready to sacrifice for their children and take took at them selves to see what example they are setting, Cikgu Ali added.

Meanwhile, the school headmistress, Cikgu Rasiah bte Hj Tudin, in her welcoming speech said among the objectives of the talk was for parents and school teachers to exchange ideas and ways to improve academic results of the school.
