Workshop On Using Interactive Whiteboard

Bandar Seri Begawan - Teachers were exposed to teaching methods using an interactive whiteboard during a three-day workshop held at the Pintu Malim Primary School yesterday. The workshop was organised by the Department of Information & Communication Technology, Ministry of Education.

Presenters at the workshop were Siti Rogayah Hj Tamin, Hjh Suziyana Hj Abdullah, Hjh Mas Salina Mohd Daud and Norlezawati bte Tuah, who were representatives from four different primary schools.

During the workshops, teachers were given the opportunity to create their own teaching material/aids using the interactive whiteboard. The main objective of the workshops was to implement a new method of teaching in classrooms using the interactive white board instead of the normal plain whiteboard. It is believed that this new, more advanced method of teaching would attract students to learn effectively. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
