By Yusrin Junaidi & Azrol Azmi

Bandar Seri Begawan - Two representatives from University of East Anglia (UEA) were invited to Brunei by James Hon Marketing and Management to meet prospective students interested in nursing and health related courses, including medicine and pharmacy.

The two representatives, Professor Peter Kopelman MD, Director of UEA Institute of Health, and Mrs Kate Guyon, Dean of School of Nursing, held interview sessions for students yesterday at the James Hon centre in Kiulap.

Voted as `Top English Mainstream University', UEA has an international reputation for top quality teaching and research in a wide range of subject areas. It was also awarded `Excellent' ratings for its Teaching Quality by the UK government. There are over 300 courses offered through 23 Schools of Study at the university, which is built on beautiful parklands near the city of Norwich. The campus combines natural beauty with award-winning architecture and has a safe and friendly environment where students from more than 100 countries live and study.

Meanwhile, in a separate event, the UEA representatives presented a seminar on health and nursing courses available at UEA at The Rizqun International Hotel on Thursday evening. Over 20 students turned up for the presentation that was held to brief students who are interested in pursuing their studies in related fields. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
