University Of East Anglia Reps In
Brunei

Begawan - Two representatives from University of East Anglia
(UEA) were invited to Brunei by James Hon Marketing and Management
to meet prospective students interested in nursing and health
related courses, including medicine and pharmacy.
The two representatives, Professor
Peter Kopelman MD, Director of UEA Institute of Health, and Mrs Kate
Guyon, Dean of School of Nursing, held interview sessions for
students yesterday at the James Hon centre in Kiulap.
Voted as `Top English Mainstream
University', UEA has an international reputation for top quality
teaching and research in a wide range of subject areas. It was also
awarded `Excellent' ratings for its Teaching Quality by the UK
government. There are over 300 courses offered through 23 Schools of
Study at the university, which is built on beautiful parklands near
the city of Norwich. The campus combines natural beauty with
award-winning architecture and has a safe and friendly environment
where students from more than 100 countries live and study.
Meanwhile, in a separate event, the
UEA representatives presented a seminar on health and nursing
courses available at UEA at The Rizqun International Hotel on
Thursday evening. Over 20 students turned up for the presentation
that was held to brief students who are interested in pursuing their
