Chinese Envoy Says Farewell

Bandar Seri Begawan - MDM Yang Yanyi, the outgoing People's Republic of China Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam, left Brunei Darussalam to return to Beijing yesterday morning

On hand to bid farewell to Mdm Yang Yanyi were the staff of the Chinese Embassy in Brunei Darussalam.

Mdm Yang Yanyi has completed her two-year tenure based in Brunei Darussalam. She arrived in the Sultanate on Feb 28, 2005.

For the past two years, bilateral and economic links between China and Brunei Darussalam in areas of trade, energy, communications, investment, tourism, agriculture, and infrastructure development have increased. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
