Pre-U Students Study Brunei Coastal Areas

Bandar Seri Begawan - A group of pre-university 11 students from the Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Science College yesterday went on a field trip to the Tungku, Berakas Forest Reserve and Berakas Garrison beaches, to study the coastal areas there.

In the half-day trip, geography teacher Gareth Griffith stressed on the students regarding the need to conserve acid protect the Brunei coastal areas, as they are constantly being eroded by the sea. Students also carried out investigations of beach profiles, longshore drift, wind speed and the wave actions. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
