Quran reading for adults

Twenty-two participants, including two females, attended the qualifying round for the Adult al-Quran reading competition for Zone 3 at Kampong Beribi Mosque in Gadong. Guest of honour was acting Head Village of Beribi, Haji Hassan bin Haji Ahim. It was organised by the Mosque Affairs Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs. Awang Hj Ibrahim bin Hj Sahat from Jubli Mosque, Jangsak achieved top marks and will represent Zone 3 to the next stage of the competition.
