Italy's Top Team Promises Support
For Brunei Tourism
By Huraizah Ahmad
Bandar Seri
Begawan - An Italian incentive group, comprising 62 best
clients of Veat SPA, arrived at the Empire Hotel and Country Club
yesterday.
Accompanying the group were
organiser Federico Crisera of Gattinoni and Top Team executive
director Enrico Cesati Cassin as well as Veat SPA's marketing
director Dina Cascio and sales director Matteo Cascio.
"There have been some changes since
we first visited Brunei last year. This year, the group will be
looking forward to a city tour during which they will visit Kampong
Ayer, Royal Regalia and other unique attractions.
"Although we would love to make a
trip to the jungles, our short stay makes it impossible to do so.
However, we might be planning a longer visit here next time so we
can experience more of the rich natural habitat of Brunei," said
Dina Cascio.
Meanwhile, Crisera said, "Veat SPA
is a major Italian supplier of industrial and car paint products for
well-known distributors such as 3M, Maersk, Mayer and PPG
industries. The group features some of the top clients for Veat SPA.
It will also hold a company meeting to plan their organisational
strategies."
"We are all playing our part in
contributing towards Brunei's tourism industry," said Cassin. "Be it
the travel agents, the hoteliers or media personnel, each role is
equally important in bringing more tourists to Brunei."
He added, "To support Brunei
tourism, we hope to get more Italians to visit the country and
experience something unique. In fact, after this second batch of
Italian incentive group this year, we are set to bring in a bigger
group in March."
Prior to a visit to Brunei, the
incentive group stayed in Kuala Lumpuu and Kota Kinabalu of
Malaysia, and will be leaving the country today. -- Courtesy of Borneo
