pronounce letters carefully in the aspect of Fasahah and not to let
mistakes such as changing of letters, lines in one kalimah
(translation) change the real meaning or definition, in the recital
of al-Quran.
This was stated by Judge Chairman
Hj Mohd Sahri bin Hj Sulaiman based on the judging panel's findings
in the al-Quran competition finals for adults in Belait District
where seven Qari (male) and one Qariah (female) took part.
He added that based on the four
criterias judged, several mistakes were detected (termed as Jali or
Khaf) such as imperfections in Makharijul sentence, which relates to
the letters' characteristic.
Breathing factor is also important
in the recitation of al-Quran.
Therefore participants should have
adequate training for better breathing and tidier reading, he said.
He also urged all participants to
continuously undergo vocal control training so it would not affect
the judging criteria.
