Pusat Bahagia Celebrates Students' Birthdays

Bandar Seri Begawan - Thirty students from Pusat Bahagia yesterday witnessed a lion dance performance by the Chung Hwa Middle School students held in conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Lunar Year celebration, as well as their students' birthdays for the month of February at the centre's hall in Kampong Pulaie.

A patriotic singing performance was also held by the students in conjunction with the upcoming 23rd National Day celebration.

Attending the birthday celebration as the guest of honour was the Director of Community Development Department, Datin Hjh Adina Othman, who also presented two walking sticks to students.

Also present at the event were officers and personnel.

During the event, students were presented with goodie bags and Mandarin oranges. According to Hj Rosmadee Hj Mohd Daud, Assistant Director II at the Department of Community Development, the department is grateful for the contribution made to the centre either in the form of materials or services. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
