UBD Holds Hijrah Celebration

Bandar Seri Begawan - Universiti Brunei Darussalam on Thursday held a New Year of Hijrah celebration at the university's mosque.

Guest of honour at the event was UBD's Vice Chancellor, Dato Paduka Dr Haji Ismail bin Haji Duraman.

The ceremony began with Maghrib prayers followed by a welcoming speech by co-chairman of the Masjid UBD Takmir committee. A forum on `Strengthening Ambition Towards a Life in Religion and Knowledge" was also held.
