Farewell Call Of Singapore Military Chief

Bandar Seri Begawan - Chief of Defence Forces of the Singapore Armed Forces, Lt General Dato Paduka Seri Ng Yat Chung, yesterday paid courtesy calls on the Deputy Minister of Defence and Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces at the Ministry of Defence in Bolkiah Garrison.

On his arrival at MINDEF, Lt General Dato Paduka Seri Ng Yat Chung was greeted by the RBAF Commander, Pehin Data Lailaraja Major General Dato Paduka Seri Hj Awg Halbi Hj Md Yussof, and senior military officers of MINDEF and RBAF.

The Singapore Chief of Defence Forces received a General Salute and inspected the Guard of Honour manned by personnel from the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF).

Lt General Dato Paduka Seri Ng Yat Chung then proceeded with his courtesy calls, first to the Commander of RBAF and followed by Deputy Minister of Defence, Pehin Datu Singamanteri Col (Rtd) Dato Seri Paduka Hj Mohammad Yasmin Hj Umar.

The Singapore Chief of Defence Forces arrived in the country Tuesday for a two-day farewell visit aimed at continuing the friendly relations and enhancing cooperation between both armed forces. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
