JPMC Reaches Out To Local Youth

Bandar Seri Begawan - Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) recently gave a series of talks on gynaecological issues to Years 8 to 11 students of International School Brunei (ISB), in hopes of educating the youth as they journeyed through adolescence, according to a press release.

According to Dr N Pandiyan of JPMC, the centre "is most excited to have the opportunity to communicate with the youth of Brunei. It is our responsibility as healthcare providers to ensure that proper information is channelled to them".

The health programme is aimed at youngsters aged between 12 and 19. Each talk is targeted at specific age group and gender, delivered by Dr Chitra Karat, consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at JPMC. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
