Flag-raising at Mukim Tamoi

A national flag-raising ceremony took place at the residence of the Mukim Tamoi Penghulu, Pengarah Awang Haji Mokti Salleh. The guest of honour, Awang Rusdin Hj Abd Aziz, Special Duties Officer at the Brunei-Muara District Office, congratulated the residents for holding the ceremony to mark the upcoming National Day. Residents including students from Haji Tarip Primary School sang the national anthem as the flag was raised. The Penghulu said that his Mukim has held the ceremony for the past five years to symbolise the residents' love for the nation, especially during National Day.
