Keriam Community Hoists National Flag

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Malay Association of Keriam Tutong with the cooperation of the Consultative Council of Kampong Keriam, Tutong organised a `Majlis Mengarak, Menaik and Mengibar Bendera Brunei Darussalam' in conjunction with the 23rd National Day celebrations.

The guest of honour for the function was Acting District Officer of Tutong, Awg Haji Haris bin Othman.

Also present were Penghulu Kampong Keriam, Ketua-Ketua Kampong Mukim Keriam, members of the committee and youths of PESAKA, Scout Association of Tutong District and villagers of Kampong Keriam.

The ceremony was officiated by chairman of the function, Major (Rtd) Hj Awg Lamat. He handed over the national flag to the Acting District Officer who later handed it to the Scout team for the flag-hoisting ceremony.
