Brunei-China Friendship Association Hosts Dinner For Visiting Chinese Officials

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Brunei-China Friendship Association hosted a dinner in honour of 10 officials from the Beihai Municipal People's Government of the People's Republic of China on Sunday night. It was held at Vanda Restaurant at the Orchid Garden Hotel in Berakas.

Present at the gathering were Pehin Dato Paduka Awg Hj Dam, the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, and Dato Paduka Hj Idris Belaman, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The visit was meant to strengthen investment and education cooperation and to open up opportunities for cruise cooperation between Beihai port and Brunei as well as other countries in the Asean region. At present, Beihai port has a cruise link with Vietnam. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
