Informal Fun-Filled Family Day For Pulic Servants

Bandar Seri Begawan -The Family Day for the Public Service Department was held yesterday at the Asma Hotel in Jerudong. With the aim to bring together all staff members from different levels within the department, the informal social gathering was filled with smiles and laughter.

Although the event started off slightly formal, the afternoon was, more or less, light and fun with a memento presentation ceremony to four retirees of the department, prize presentations to winners of the Public Service Department Sports Fair held in June last year and karaoke performance by the various sections in the department. There was also a lucky draw for adults, while the children enjoyed fun and games.

Also present was the Director General of the Public Service, Dato Raduka' Hj Saifon Hj Awg Besar.. The function was organised by the Berkesan, the department's social and sports body. It started with an opening speech by the Director of the development and management section, Hj Abd Rahman Hj Muhammad Husain, the Chairman of Berkesan, followed by the Public Service Director General. -- Courtesy of The Brunei Times
