IWC's Treat To Orphans

Bandar Seri Begawan - International Women's Club Brunei (IWC) organised a get-together party for orphans of Brunei Darussalam at the Di-Gadong Hall of Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports yesterday.

Present as the guest of honour was Datin Dayang Haj ah Saidah binti Haji Mohd Said.

During the party, the children were given green packets and goodie bags, presented by the guest of honour, President of IWC, Advisor of IWC and VC of IWC as well as the spouses of Foreign Heads of Missions.

In her speech, Datin Dayang Hjh Rosinah Haji Kifli, President of IWC, said the event was one of the club's projects. She added that the members of IWC have made contributions in welfare works.

She thanked the sponsors and donators, for without their support - either in goods, food, money or ideas - the event wouldn't be a success.

She said this showed good understanding and cooperation among them. She added that the club would continue to foster good relations and undertake these social activities and hope to continue to get support and participation from the contributors.
