Man killed by truck.

Begawan - A Man was killed instantly in a tragic accident
along the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Highway early yesterday
morning.
According to a Royal Brunei Police
spokesperson, DSP Pg Mohd Roslin Pg Bakar, the incident took place
at 6.15am, just when streetlights were switched off.
The victim, a 41-year-old man from
the Lambak Kanan Housing Scheme, Husin Mustafa, was fixing a
punctured tyre on his car, which was parked on the hard shoulder of
the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah highway, facing the airport, when
an oncoming truck hit him.

Yawang, the duty officer at the Bandar Police Station said that the
victim was thrown more than 10 metres from his vehicle, after the
impact from the truck, killing him instantly.
Husin Mustafa was dead due to
massive injuries when an ambulance arrived at the scene, police
said.
He was brought to the Raja Isteri
Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital.
The driver of the truck, whose
identity has been withheld by the Royal Brunei Police Force, has
been detained for further questioning.
DSP Pg Roslin also advised
motorists in the sultanate to be more cautious when parked on the
side of the highway, and that a safe spot should be carefully
selected when tending to vehicle repairs.
He added that motorists using the
highway should reduce their speed when approaching a parked vehicle.
According to Inspector Kenny, the
