More Illegal Signboards Taken Down

Bandar Seri Begawan - The 3rd operation of tearing down illegal signboards and banners got under way yesterday morning.

The operation was conducted by the Town and Country Planning Department with the assistance of the Public Works Department.

The team was led by Pg Hj Kamaluddin Pg Hj Md Daud from the Town and Country Planning Department.

The targeted areas included Jalan Tutongi Jangsak junction, Jalan Gadong Tjunction as well as Kampong Kilanas.

The public who are interested to put up banners and signboards may obtain information from the Town and Country Planning Department.

Application forms should be returned to the department with a minimal fee of B$10. The department also urged the public to adhere to rules and regulations in puffing up; banners or signboards. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
